Our Towers Will Never Fail In Cooling (Air) Or Saving (Money)

One of the most important aspects that are supposed to be kept under control in any manufacturing process in order to not just protect the structure from over heating but also to achieve the best level of economy is the degree of heat that is generated because of the numerous machines that are involved in the processes that are an intrinsic part of the whole process.

As a manufacturer of cooling towers since the last 32 years, we have the widest experience in a spectrum of industries that we have been able to successfully cater to. Our clients have had the experience of our finest products like the FRP square cooling tower, FRP circle cooling and Timber Induced Draught Cooling Tower.

One of the distinct features that distinguishes us as a company that stands apart from the crowd when it comes to Cooling Tower Manufacturers is that we have the capability to manufacture cooling towers that can adapt to the needs of any and every industry that exists in the world. This is possible because of the team of the highly talented , skilled and dedicated workforce that are employed with us.  This is backed up by a team of professionals who have a huge amount of collective experience amongst them.

One of the equally important factors that contributes in the success of the company on a regular basis apart from the best brains in the business and a dedicated workforce is the set of tangible assets in the form of the sophisticated state of the art machinery that we deploy in manufacturing of cooling towers that are renowned throughout the country for their high level of efficiency and efficacy combined with the highest rate of economy that our clients have been able to experience after installing our Cooling Tower.

Cooling Tower and its Industrial Applications

Water is one of the most widely used heat transfer mediums in the Middle East because it is readily available and highly effective. A cooling tower dissipates heat through partial evaporation of the water. Some of the most effective cooling towers today are FRP circle cooling towers, Timber Induced Draught Cooling towers, and FRP square cooling towers.

Cooling towers Kuwait, Jordan or UAE are used in different plants, industries and sectors, but most commonly in centrally a/c plants, pharmaceutical and laboratories, industrial refrigeration, process cooling, plastic industries, solvent extraction plants, chemical industries, metal & alloy industries, and textiles. Others are dairy and food industries, cinema halls, auditoriums, engineering industries, cement plants, ceramic industries, and sugar industries. Some of the best manufacturers in the world are cooling tower manufacturers India. So, what are the different uses and industrial applications of cooling towers UAE, Kuwait, or Jordan?

The most obvious use of industrial cooling towers is the removal of heat from a plant. This is important because it prevents the overheating of the plant. Overheating can cause the collapse of the plant, damage to some of the machines, or even a fire. Cooling towers dissipate heat into the atmosphere and air and wind then spread the heat over a large area through diffusion. Petroleum refineries, natural gas processing plants, petrochemical and chemical plants, nuclear power plants, and fossil-fuel power plants need cooling to prevent catastrophe. Once-through cooling water is used since recirculation is too expensive.

The other types of cooling towers Kuwait, Jordan or UAE, closed loop/circuit cooling towers, are popular in areas where water is not readily available or is too expensive. In this case, the cooling water is filtered and then passed through copper tubes to draw out the heat. The water is then cooled and re-circulated.

Some nuclear power plants and coal-fired plants in coastal areas use once-through ocean water. Careful design when it comes to the offshore discharge water outlet is however, needed to avoid environmental issues. A typical petroleum refinery requires almost 80,000 cubic meters of water every hour.

There are smaller cooling towers that are used for air conditioning purposes in such commercial establishments as office buildings, food storage facilities, and sports arenas. Yet another use of cooling tower Jordan, UAE, or Kuwait from cooling tower manufacturers India is fog production.

Some cool towers use natural draft whereby buoyancy is used via tall chimneys, some use mechanical draft where power-driven fan motors are used, some use induced draft, some use forced draft, and some use fan-assisted natural draft.

Cooling Tower Uses and Industrial Applications

A cooling tower is a heat extracting device that draws the waste heat from the heat source and releases it into the atmosphere by evaporation. The water to be cooled is broken down into small water droplets with the help of nozzles. The air stream which is drawn from the bottom or on the sides of the cooling tower based on the type of cooling tower. This air stream when it comes in contact with the water droplet absorbs the latent heat of the water droplet from the surface cooling down the water droplet to the wet-bulb temperature.

Cooling Towers are classified based on various aspects like type of draught: Natural or Mechanical. Further distinction is made based on (1) the type of flow- cross flow, counter flow, concurrent flow ;( 2) the  type of heat dissipation – wet (evaporative Cooling), dry, wet-dry; and (3) the type of application – industrial or power plant.

Closed loop (or closed circuit) cooling tower systems, also called indirect cooling tower systems, do not allow the water to come into contact with any outside substance, therefore keeping the water more pure due to the lack of foreign particles introduced.

Each type of cooling tower serves its specific purpose be it an open induced draught which is used in places where the cooling medium can be replaced at regular intervals. Whereas on the other hand, Closed circuit cooling towers or better known as Loop Cooling Towers are used for application specific reasons where water available is either scarce or exorbitantly high in cost. In these cases, clean water can be passed through the copper tubes and dirty or hard water readily available can be used for cooling the clean water passed through the copper tubes. This reduces the scaling effect which is known to reduce the efficiency and increase the running cost.

The primary use of Cooling Towers is to remove heat from machines or heated process materials like in power plants, petroleum refineries, Chemical Plants, natural gas processing plants, Food processing plants, Plastic industry, etc.

Being in the cooling tower industry since 1988, Harrison Cooling Towers has supplied to most of these industries. Harrison Cooling Towers is one of the major players for induced draught cooling Towers with installations all over India, Middle East, African Continent, UAE, Germany, France, Malaysia, etc.
